The Chesterfield Historical Society of Virginia and Chesterfield Department of Parks and Recreation will present a free lecture recognizing the 100th anniversary of the end of World War I. Take a look back at the Victory Garden movement that began a century ago during “The Great War.” Americans assisted with the war effort by raising food in back yards, vacant lots and schools. Also see the museum’s special exhibit.
